Complete cell integration

Turnkey machine vision and robot systems integration

A machine vision systems integrator connects the camera, robot, conveyor and production controls as one project. We engineer the interfaces, controls, safeguarding, testing and handover required to create one working production system.

Delivery pathway

From production question to accepted cell.

Each stage reduces a different risk: vision, handling, cycle, integration, safety or operation.

01

Application review

Define the product, decision, target output, line interfaces and operating constraints.

02

Vision trial

Run a representative-sample feasibility trial to prove imaging, lighting, classification, handling and the uncertain-result response.

03

Cell engineering

Detail the robot, tooling, conveyor, controls, safeguarding, layout and recovery strategy.

04

Build & integrate

Assemble, program and connect the complete system with realistic production sequences.

05

FAT, test & prove

Challenge normal, reject and fault conditions before installation and acceptance.

06

Install & hand over

Commission on site, train users and provide the agreed technical documentation and support.

Complete scope

Engineering beyond the robot arm.

Responsibilities are defined clearly so product flow, controls and safe operation do not fall between suppliers.

01

Mechanical

Cell frame, conveyors, fixtures, tooling, guarding and access.

02

Electrical

Panels, field devices, robot services, safety circuits and installation.

03

Controls

PLC, HMI, recipes, upstream and downstream line interfaces, diagnostics, data exchange and recovery.

04

Handover

Testing, commissioning, acceptance, training and documentation.

Questions

Planning a complete vision cell.

Early evidence about the current process helps us focus the first technical response.

What should we send for an initial application review?

A short process video, product photos, dimensions and weight, target output, good and reject examples, available layout and details of upstream and downstream equipment are an excellent start.

Are product trials included?

Where imaging or handling risk justifies them, representative trials form part of developing and proving the concept. The sample set and acceptance criteria are agreed for the project stage.

Does the project include safeguarding and controls?

Oxford Industrial Automation treats tooling, controls, interfaces and safeguarding as part of the complete cell scope, with the exact responsibilities defined in the proposal.

Start with the production task

Show us what the system needs to see and move.

Use the project brief form, or email product photos or video with the target output, current layout and required decision. We will define the next technical step.
